Michael like he’s thirteen, that’s insane he

Michael Puig Mr. Ulloa English Accelerated January 3, 2017 Doctor Puig’s diagnosis on Holden’s mental stability              Hi I’m Doctor Puig and today I’m with my patient Holden, and I’m here to help him and maybe even diagnose him. So let’s get to what has happened to him, apparently when Holden was younger, he saw his brother die from cancer right in front of him and he had a very negative reaction to this. He broke the windows in his house and broke his hand which seems to have not healed from that incident. He seems to not trust anyone, not even me but I’ve tried to some trust exercises to build trust and a relationship with him. But everytime if tried he rejected me mumbling “phony”. It seems that he has some sort of awardees towards people that want to help him. He did say that he never trusted his parents and he never really had friends in school, but the only person that he loves is his sister Phoebe, but he said that he never saw her that much. He seems to be very lonely and that definitely due to the fact that he doesn’t trust anyone and it seems very common for him thinking to be very mature.   he has a feeling of being alienated from the life expectancies of those around him. Holden will psychologically analyzed to see what has happened to him over the years and try to find a plan for him in the future.I now quote what he told me about what he did after the death of his brother:”I was only thirteen, and they were going to have my psychoanalyzed and all, because I broke all the windows in the garage. I don’t blame them. I really don’t. I slept in the garage the night he died, and I broke all the goddam windows with my fist, just for the hell of it. I even tried to break all the windows on the station wagon we had that summer, but my hand was already broken and everything by that time, and I couldn’t do it. It was a very stupid thing to do, I’ll admit, but I hardly didn’t even know I was doing it, and you didn’t know Allie.”(ch. 5, pg. 44)              I found this very tragic, like he’s thirteen, that’s insane he was just a kid and still is and that is because he doesn’t trust anyone because he is so damaged about what happened he can’t express his emotions. He’s got pretty banged up from these horrific events and no ones really has taken notice, it really sucks to see this poor kid suffering like this with no one really taking notice.             Now we understand what has happened to him as a kid and now growing up to be an adult now let’s get to what is my diagnosis. He has a definite case of Post traumatic stress disorder or PTSD which is a disorder that develops in some people who have experienced a shocking, scary, or dangerous event. so like the time when his brother past away, so what does it do? It is natural to feel afraid during and after a traumatic situation. Fear triggers many split-second changes in the body to help defend against danger or to avoid it. This response is a typical reaction meant to protect a person from harm. Nearly everyone will experience a range of reactions after trauma, yet most people recover from initial symptoms naturally. it shows that he he has it, he very aggressive towards people and he can’t trust anyone. He also suffers from adolescence which is the feeling of being alienated from the life expectancies of those around him. Holden was struggling to make the transition from boy to man and did not like the insincerity, phoniness and cruelty of a world he was being asked to accept. And in my opinion he has a small case of social anxiety because he has a fear of interacting with people and when ever he does he tends to freak out or be rude and his actions are abnormal. It probably is because of how childish he is but when comes down to it, his lack of communication and interactive approach towards people is the reason why I diagnosed him with social anxiety. And finally he has a definite case of depression. He is so lonely and has no one to trust, although it seems people want to help he doesn’t accept them into his life.
