Visionary of others to ‘steal’ secret hidden

Visionary
filmmaker Christopher Nolan directs psychological sci-fi action film Inception, the narrative follows the
life of Cobb a professional thief, who him and team of ‘Extractors’ perform
corporate espionage using an experiment military technology to infiltrate the subconscious
of their targets. Extracting corporate information through a shared dream world:
Cobb is given a seemingly impossible job which is to plant an idea in a
person’s subconscious. Cobb is approached by the wealthy Mr Saito asking them
to perform the act of ‘inception’, (Image 6) to break up the vast energy empire
of his competitor Maurice Fischer, the task is to suggest an idea to his son Robert
Fischer who will inherit the empire when his father dies. Cobb and his team of
extractors conduct an unconventional, three levelled dream or rather a ‘dream
within a dream within a dream’ to undergo the enormous business decision Mr
Saito has initiated. While the movie is entitled Inception, it begins with the
premise of extraction – the ability to enter the dreams of others to ‘steal’ secret
hidden deep within our subconscious. The film is significant in the sense of something
much more meaningful, the ability to seed ideas that come to life when we
awake.
