Was design proves to be a superior

Was it God or Did Chance Create the Eye?Jacob GarnesHaywood Christian Academy Abstract This paper goes through the details of evolution to refute it using the eyes it also will look at the creationist way to prove that God created the human eye. The parts of the eye can be related to the Christian religion. The human eye has multiple parts that depend on each other to be able to acquire eyesight. After looking at all of the evidence, creationism has prove to be the superior theory. Detailed Outline Thesis: Intelligent design proves to be a superior theory to the evolution theory evidenced by the eye. I.   God or chance create the eye?  The eye is a very complex organ Some humans believe that the eye came to be by chance and not by some all powerful God    There is not enough good evidence to prove one or the other is real  Intelligent design proves to be a superior theory to the evolution theory as evidenced by the eye.II. The eye is a very complex organ. Some humans believe we came to be by chance and not by some all powerful God. The eye came about in only two possible ways, evolution or creationism. Both intelligent design and evolution are not reproducible since they are theories. Intelligent design though proves to be a superior theory to the evolution theory evidenced by the eye.     The eye is one of the most complicated parts of the human body. So most people would want to know how it came to exist. So they look to people who study the history of the eye for many years. Most people who do not believe in God, are more likely to believe that evolution and chance created the eye. Although most christians believe in that God, they believe that God created the eye through creationism. The evolutionist believes that chance created the eye and over millions of years the eye developed into what we see today. Creationism or intelligent design believes that the eye was created by God. Creation? View of the Eye     “The eye is the lamp of the body”, matthew 6:22. God gave most of his creations the eye so that they may see the wonders that he has created. Although there are some of his creations that do not have eyes like the mole and the madagascar blind snake.(source) God has given them ways that they can function without and live without worry. The eye is a very beautiful creation, altho it can be used for the wrong purpose. Creationism or Intelligent Design, is the belief that life and the universe has been created by an all powerful being, in reference to God. The intelligent design theory is not supported by evidence since there were no eye witness. According to the spiritual life website, since 1929, the term “creationism” in the United States has been correlated with the christians and specifically with a disbelief in evolution and a belief in a young earth.(source date??) Young earth creationism is the belief that God directly created the universe in six days and that the earth is relatively young. The young earth creationists usually say the age of the earth is around 6,000 years old. This is stated in an article from answers in genesis. (date) So creationists believe that since God created all things that he also created the eye.  Evolution? View of the Eye     Evolution is the process by which different kinds of living organisms developed and evolved into better forms of these older forms during the making of the Earth. The theory of evolution suggests that life on earth evolved from one common ancestor about 3.8 billion years ago. It is a “theory” in the scientific sense of the word, which means it is not reproducible today, but it is accepted as fact by the scientific community. According to PBS (2001) the process that created the eye is just a bunch of mutations and natural selection. (“Evolution of the eye”, 2001)How the Eye Works     The eye can prove the existence of God in many ways. The eye is the most active muscle in the human body. According to Huffpost(11/17), Blinking occurs about 30,000 times a day and about 15 to 20 times in a minute. (Date) We naturally need to blink so our eyes do not dry out. The possibility that Evolution and chance created the eye is very inprobile. As Well as the eye sees upside down. Once the image travels to the brain, the brain changes the orientation of the eye so that the image seems to be right side up to the human mind. Although if the brain did not change the orientation of the image humans would not know we were seeing things upside down. The protective part of the eye is the cornea. If damaged the cornea is capable of healing within forty eight hours. The cornea is the only part of the human body that is not blood supplied. The cornea gets oxygen from the direct air. The cornea is the fastest healing tissue in the human body. If the the eye had been created through evolution and chance, it would not make sense if the eye evolved by chance. The only probable explanation is that God(the greater being) designed the eye so that it would heal fast enough to keep the eye protected. If the eye had to rely on chance then the eye would have been completely redesigned.  Flaws in the Design of the Eye    (medlineplus) Evolution believes that the eye has gotten better since the eye has been created and will get better. Although there are diseases that will affect the eye in negative ways in the future, some of these diseases include, diabetes. Diabetes can cause issues to the eye over time if not cured, although most can be prevented. These conditions include diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, cataracts, and glaucoma. Diabetic retinopathy is your blood sugar levels reach a certain pressure, when this occurs it can cause damage to blood vessels in the retina. These blood vessels can get too much pressure and the they will swell and leak. diabetic macular edema is an accumulation of fluid in the macula(part of the retina) due to leaking blood vessels. Cataracts is the clouding in the lense that affects the vision. Glaucoma is the increased pressure, called intraocular pressure. This can damage the optic nerve, which transmits images to your brain. Most of these are curable and even preventable. (“The eye diseases”, 4/10/2017)      Researchers have found problems and flaws in the design of the eye. The most common vision or eye problems are called refractive errors. Thies can also be known as also known as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia. Refractive errors, is when the shape of the eye prevents light from focusing directly on the retina. The length of the eyeball changes in length and in the width of the eyeball. The shape of the cornea, weather it is too long, short or too thinness, thickness of the lens can cause refractive errors. Most of these are things received at birth but in some cases they can develop later in life. The human eye is an example of how evolution can produce a clunky design. If the eye were to be designed from scratch or from nothing, it would be hard to imagine that it would look anything like it does. So that means evolution cannot be a possible theory when considering  (why?)    Creationists often pointed to the human eye as an example of so called irreducible complexity. They claim that the eye is so sophisticated, and with so many interconnecting parts, that evolution could not have produced it through chance. Because the human eye does not function, even slightly, unless all of the parts are in place and working together in a rhythm. So the probability of it all coming all together is nearly impossible. Even if it did, it would have taken millions of tries and the animals that need the eye to survive they would naturally evolve and acquire another sense. Creationism supports that the greater designer if the eye is the most probable way of the eye being able to be created. How the parts of the eye work According to Quora(date) there is no real answer to the question, can the eye function with a part missing. The eye cannot properly function without all of the necessary parts. The eye has over two million moving parts. The pupil is the center part of the eye. The pupil allows light to hit the retina. The retina is the tissue that layers the back of the eye. Retina receives the focused light from the lense. The lense focuses the light to the retina. The protective part of the eye is called the cornea. Vitreus is a gel like substance that helps the eye stay in the shape of a ball. Choroid is the provides the retina with oxygen. The fovea is a part of the retina that spreads aside to allow light to enter the eye. The optic nerve transmits the image to the brain. Sclera is the white part of the eye, this supports the shape of the eye. Ciliary muscle allows us to move our eye around so we do not have a fived view. The iris controls the size of the pupil, so that there is not too much or not enough light going into the eye. The lense controls the focusing whether it be up close or far away. So the advanced design of the eye proves that creationism is that superior theory.   What Details Lead to the Truth Evolution states that the eye has been around for millions of years. Altoh the eye have not been the way we see it for that long. Scientist say that the eye was created by millions of trials and errors. When it was in the process of being created the eye was just a jumbled lump of stuff not really having a purpose. If this is true then the eye would have never been created, because it would have taken trillions of years to become what it looks like today. Learning about how the eye came to be created is a long and confusing. Altho people have many different theories about the eye there is only one that makes sense and that’s creationism.
